"Another opportunity that I experienced this year in co-op was the Dual Credit Program at Algonquin College. Every Wednesday starting February 4th to May 13th, I went to Algonquin College instead of going to to my Embassy West placement. In this course I learned many different skills from the College Success Program, that prepares students for the transformation from high school to college. This course was a college course for students in grades 11 and 12. At the end of this course, I was rewarded with 1 college and 1 high school credit. This experience was great because I was surrounded by college rules and expecations, which allowed me to be part of the college body, and helped me to grow more mature."
